Maestro Pedro Tangoa López

Pedro Tangoa López is a Shipibo healer with 34 years of experience working with medicinal plants and curanderismo. He is the founder and president of “Chonon Rawa: School of Shipibo Traditional Medicine”. From childhood he observed and helped his grandparents collect roots, flowers, leaves, resins, and fruits for their medicinal qualities. He has worked as an education and taught courses and given conference presentations on traditional Shipibo medicine. He lives close to Yarinacocha, Peru.
