David Dupuis has a PhD in Social Anthropology and a MA in Clinical Psychology. He is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Anthropology at the University of Durham and a member of the Hearing the Voice program. Dupuis has conducted ethnographic surveys in Amazonian Peru for a decade, focusing on the globalization of the use of hallucinogenic substances. He aims to build an anthropological comparative study of the relationships between hallucinations and culture.
